Policies
- A 3 year warranty applies to all labour and covers diagnosis/replacement of defective component(s). Software including operating system, applicable programs and data excluded.
- All products and components are covered by each individual manufacturer's warranty. Depending on the item, this could range from 30 days warranty to lifetime warranty. Please be sure to complete all product warranty cards and mail-in to each component manufacturer. In the event of a warranty claim, Rooster Computer Systems will process the claim on behalf of the customer free of charge, and will cover expenses related to returning the defective product to the distributor/manufacturer for a period of (1) year. If a warranty claim is processed after (1) year, Rooster Computer Systems will facilitate return of the product for a nominal fee and the shipping costs become the responsibility of the customer.
- Rooster Computer Systems is not responsible for inaccurate or incompatible products that are ordered. Please make sure the product you are ordering is correct before placing your order. Or, confirm your product selection with us to ensure compatibility and satisfaction.
- Returned merchandise will be accepted providing that the product is in re-saleable condition. A re-stocking fee may or may not apply depending on the item. In the event a charge does apply, a 10%-30% re-stocking would apply to components, peripherals, notebooks and custom-built systems.
- Once the shrink wrap on hardware or software is removed, the product may not be returned. If the product is D.O.A.(dead on arrival), only then may the product be returned for a refund. Nevertheless, Rooster Computer Systems reserves the right to process a return under special circumstances.
- Complete system prices do not include the cost of assembly/configuration, software installation, burn-in, or backup. Please allow $65-$260 for the aformentioned labour.
- A labour rate of $35/hour applies to all out-of-warranty work done in-house and a rate of $70/hour applies to all out-of-warranty work done on-site, including travel time to and from the site.
- All prices listed on this web site are in Canadian currency and subject to change without notice. Applicable PST and GST extra.
- All shipping, handling, and C.O.D. charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Methods of payment include cash, cheque, money order, Mastercard/Visa, or online via most Canadian banks through CertaPay Email Money Transfer(EMT). A 2% surcharge applies to all Mastercard/Visa purchases and Debit/Interac transactions are not accepted at this time. Financing is available at 15% APR(Annual Percentage Rate), to be paid in full within 1 year, unless otherwise requested in advance. Lease financing also available upon request.
